Thursday 13th November ~ At the Evening Fellowship, Marion Fairfax will speak about ‘Life in the
Diplomatic Corps.’
Tuesday
18th November ~
The Kapiti Uniting Parish will host the November meeting of Presbytery. This
will be a notable occasion as it will be the last official occasion that
Reverend Norman will attend Presbytery and the Parish will speak of his
ministry to the meeting.
Thursday
20th November ~ The meeting of Transition Towns Kapiti will host a speaker
discussing the wider implications of the foods we eat. See the enclosed
pamphlet.
Sunday
23rd November ~ At
the last Ephesus in Kapiti for 2008, Apirana Taylor
will read some of his poems, followed by discussion and will also speak of his
spirituality. Apirana was unable to speak at the 9
November meeting and was put forward until this evening. All
Welcome.

combined Lions Clubs Food appeal will be operating in the Salvation Army Hall.

CWS Christmas Appeal will be launched.

This is the deadline for the December/January double month issue of Together
and the Editor stresses the importance of making sure you provide all of the
items that must go into this issue by this time, in writing and into the Church
Office as the Editor will be unable to complete preparation of the issue until
after Wednesday 3 December

At the Afternoon Women’s Fellowship, Rosa Sugrue will be presenting a Christmas
theme.
Thursday
11th December ~
At the Evening Fellowship, Rosa Sugrue will be leading the group in a special
Christmas evening..
With the theme of “KEEP HOPE ALIVE” the
Christian World Service Christmas Appeal for 2008 will focus on people and
nations struggling with conflict in many ways.
In particular, will be the work of
partners in Timor Leste, Sudan-Darfur, Sri Lanka and
El Salvador. Your contribution can be made using the envelope included with
this Together and placed in the Sunday offering.
